| Once again we were back at the Lanco Motor speedway. It was a much cooler night in the mid to lower 70's. Later in the night it was possibly in the high 50's...it was very cool. We started our night in warm ups with a totally different setup and it worked. The car looked good and Cody was very pleased. One slight problem though is our exhaust pipe keeps moving from its position. We repaired the pipe and went out for our heat race. We started 3rd and battled with some of the top guys in our class and held them off to keep and finish 3rd. We missed some major incidents on the track with a couple cars getting upside down. We Started 4th in the feature with making only a few changes. Got some good restarts and got to the lead and lead about 9 to 11 laps. With about 6 laps left the car was loosing traction . The right rear tire was out of grip, Cody held on to 2nd for a few laps but in the end with no grip out of the right rear tire we ended up where we started, 4th. With the way our luck has been all year it was like winning a race. Our whole team knows we're going in the right direction, so hopefully we'll get some momentum to end the year.
